This summer, Little Makers returns to Amsterdam with a high-quality Art Summer Camp for kids aged 6–11.
This is a real Art Camp in Amsterdam for primary school kids: creative painting, drawing, collage, clay/sculpture, mixed media, plus tinkering and STEAM crafted projects. Children get time to explore deeply, follow their curiosity, and build confidence through making.
We don’t aim for “perfect results” — we create the conditions for real creativity to happen.
What kind of activities will your child enjoy?
Our Arty Camp is designed to inspire creativity, exploration, and connection through engaging, hands-on experiences. Here’s what your child will enjoy:
🎨 Process Art & Creative Exploration – Hands-on, open-ended art projects
🖌 Steam based crafts – STEAM-based crafts combine science, technology, engineering, art, and math in fun, hands-on activities where children explore, experiment, and create freely.
🔧 Tinkering & Building – Kids will experiment with different materials to create structures, sculptures, and inventive projects that develop problem-solving skills and imagination.
✂️ Hands-On Crafts & Mixed Media – From collage and printmaking to clay modeling, children will explore a variety of creative techniques to express themselves.
🕺✨Light installations, loose parts, and sensory exploration to nurture creative play through an artistic lens. Plus movement activities and theatrical improvisation to help children develop creativity through the body.
🌿 Outdoor Play – We will spending time outdoors every day

That’s why this camp is designed specifically for ages 6 to 11. This stage is perfect for deeper creative exploration: more tools, richer materials, bigger ideas, and more satisfying projects. It’s the ideal age for a creative summer camp that feels meaningful, artistic, and genuinely inspiring.
